Raining In Bangalore

The other day I it was raining hard in Bangalore. I was driving back from office and from the window I saw a girl driving a Honda-Activa(thats the new scooter girls love these days in India) with a guy maybe a year older than her or the same age sitting behind. Obviously it looked like the both were in love and they did make a good pair. Typical south indian face, both had, so if my guess was right they should be from tamilnad. We had to stop by "a 3minute wait - traffic signal" enroute my home. So the rain had stopped by now and I tried to bring down the window glass. With a roar the rain started and I got a little wet. I couldnt help looking at that pair and gave a glance where they stood. A quick movement, the girl turned around and pecked a small kiss on the guy's cheek. Oops, now I am embarassed, good they didnt notice me. I then looked at that guy, he was literally blushing and was feeling the pride.. that his girl gave him a kiss! I could see it in his eyes!!! I am

Treading the path of life with friends

Who is a friend? Well this is a question which would recieve multiple answers when you ask the same question to people of different ages. Here goes my interpretation of friends And who've all made my life meaningful through this lovely relationship! My first known friend was called Madhana She lived few blocks away, but was too close to my heart Her brother and my sister went to school together And that paved way for the fun we had. Then came school - (Vikaasa primary) Bindhya,Indu,Sathya,Bala to name some Cant forget Siddhu's lies and Dwaritha's silence!! Can I ever forget my first class teacher and friend Shanthi Bala?? (I met her after I finished my studies and joined my first job She hugged me and said "how are you my darling" just the same way she did on my first day to school.) I was pampered at home, so going to school meant hell to me I used to cry every other day till I crossed 2nd standard The reason I stopped crying was Madhana(another) and Nisha My best

Growing up as one Then split to three The 3 daughters my parents have Is all what am gonna write here about The eldest being an active admirer Of colors, paint and rangoli Decided her studies to go the chemical way And with under graduation in her pocket Decided its time to settle in wedlock Said ok to the first eligible bachelor Appa had sought, good times begun, Today ,never has a day begun without thinking of her And her lovely little daughters, the thieves of my salary till date, And who make me really admire girls! The youngest daughter being the most attractive I am sure all this cheer and magnet work Owes to the pamper dad,mom and sisters give Now all set for an MBA is exploring her ways in the B-School. And should I say about the middle one...? Yes,thats me, if I talk more, you'd call it self conceit If less, you'd call me modest Let me have it there, just right in the middle Active, sporty, witty, terribly meddlesome Mother of a little bundle of joy aged 1, Identical to me in

A school named Vikaasa

Image
If you've ever come across a Vikaasite (alumnus of the famous Vikaasa school), you would know why I took all the pains to scribble such a big note on my school. The school is truly one of its kind and deserves mention to every human being I meet in this world. I started my kindergarten there. Which school today has a toy train around the school, ample play hours, no writing work, no exams, sleeping hours, gardening time, a day dedicated to art, craft and music?? I can hear you say very few.. or can even be none.. A kindergarten is the time when a child gets moulded, when we entered school, our teachers were there at the entrance , welcoming us with open hands and would carry our lunch bags to our lockers. Then the classes would begin, yup in the garden. An hour of gardening in the early afternoon. So lovely to see the plants that we had sweated to plant and nurture bear flowers, fruits or vegetables! You know what, every plant that you have planted has a placard with its name and your
