ஒரு பழைய தொலைபேசி டயரியும் நானும்

சென்ற முறை மதுரை போனபோது, என் பீரோவின் கடைசி தட்டில் வைத்திருந்த புத்தகங்களை அடுக்கும் யோசனை தோன்றியது.புத்தகங்களை வெளியே எடுத்து, தூசித்தட்டி அடுக்கி வைத்தேன். ஒரு பெரிய புத்தகத்திலிருந்து, ஒரு சின்ன தொலைபேசி டயரி கீழே விழுந்தது. திறந்து பார்த்தால், அது 1997 - 2000 என்னோடு படித்த, பழகிய நண்பர்களின் தொலைபேசி எண்கள்.அப்போது எல்லாம் மதுரை DoT நம்பர்களில் 6 எண்கள்தான் இருக்கும் (605033 போல), இப்போதும் அந்த எண்களை தக்க வைத்திருந்தால், முன்னால் 2 சேர்த்து அழைக்க வேண்டும்,(2605033). எனக்கு நல்ல ஞாபகத்திறன், முக்கால்வாசி பெயருக்குறியவர்களை நினைவுக்கூறமுடிந்தது, முகம் கூட மறக்கவில்லை. என் மகன் தூங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தார், அதனால் நான் வேலை ஏதுமின்றி தான் இருந்தேன்.அப்போது தான் எனக்கு ஒரு எண்ணம் தோன்றியது, "எல்லா நம்பர்களையும் அழைத்து பார்த்தால் என்ன?" என்று. ஒருவேளை நம் நண்பர்கள் தொலைபேசியை எடுக்காவிட்டாலும்,யார் யார் எங்கு இருக்கிறார்கள் என்று பிறரிடம் கேட்டுக்கூட தெரிந்துக்கொள்ளலாமே என்று நினைத்தேன். சிலர் மிகவும் ஆச்சிரியத்தோடு பேசினர்,சிலரின் அம்மா/அப்பாவோடு பேசத்தான் முட
